Welcome to my website

It was suggested that the creation of a website might be a useful way of allowing my exercises and technical and melodic studies to be accessible. I have written these over the months of lockdown in 2020 and will shortly be available to download if any players consider them useful for their playing.
Over the months I may also post sundry writings, mostly in the form of memoirs that I have produced over the years. They are mostly personal reminiscences, and while of perhaps limited literary value they contain a good deal of material that may be of interest to musicians.
Finally, I hope soon to give details of my book on horn playing, which is nearing completion.
